The Stoughton Historical Society is an establishment that offers information to the town, state, schools, and individuals. It was established in 1895 and its purpose is to provide historical research and items for show to those who are interested. The society provides newsletters throughout the year to let the town know what types of exhibits and articles are being shown at certain times. They also have a book store which sells souvenirs, pamphlets, and other information on the town. The hours of operation are Tuesdays 10 am to 3 pm and Thursdays 6 pm to 8 pm or by appointment. They are located on the corner of Park Street and Pleasant Street. For more information on the Stoughton Historical Society or to make an appointment, call 781-344-5456.
